What does a Kincumber townhouse or house need cleaned outside?

Kincumber was one of the earliest settlements on the Central Coast. A freshwater creek, water access to Brisbane Water and the Hawkesbury, and old rainforest timber in the valley hills made it a timber supplier to Sydney in the early 19th century, and boats were built along Kincumber Creek until the last one, the SS Rock Lily, in 1906. The name comes from the Aboriginal word 'kincumba', meaning 'towards the rising sun'.

At the 2021 Census, 65.5% of occupied dwellings were separate houses and 30.0% were semi-detached homes, terraces or townhouses. Concrete, pavers and stone each get a pressure wash set to the surface. Where a townhouse complex is strata titled, cleaning shared paving is a decision for the owners corporation, which is responsible for maintaining and repairing common property.

Kincumba Mountain, a nature reserve inside the suburb, is used for picnics, bushwalking and orienteering. Monier, which makes roof tiles, says a roof shaded by trees shows dirt and debris faster than an open one, and it warns against pressure washers on tiles; for homes beside that bush, a roof soft wash is the gentler answer.
