Which parts of the Central Coast are covered?

Gosford and surrounds

How are the areas grouped?
The five areas follow the way the Coast is organised and searched. The NSW Government's Central Coast Regional Plan 2041 splits the region into four districts, named Narara, Tuggerah, Central Lakes and Watagan, and Central Coast Council has five wards. The five areas sit inside those, using Council's suburb spellings.
The Narara district, named for the Aboriginal name for Brisbane Water, takes in Gosford, the Woy Woy Peninsula and the Terrigal to Avoca coast, so on this site it is split three ways. The Tuggerah and Central Lakes districts become The Entrance and Tuggerah Lakes, and Wyong and the northern lakes.
The rural Watagan district, around Jilliby, Yarramalong and Mangrove Mountain, does not have its own area page. If your property is in the hinterland, ask when you request a quote.

Which rules apply everywhere on the Coast?
Three sets of rules apply to exterior cleaning anywhere on the Central Coast: Council's Water Wise Rules on how town water may be used, the NSW law that keeps wash water out of stormwater, and the manufacturers' guidance for roof tiles and Colorbond steel. Central Coast Council says some suburbs span ward boundaries, and that ward boundaries are set by population rather than geography. On this website each suburb is listed once, in the area it sits closest to.
