Driveway cleaning and house washing in Yattalunga

Where should wash water go when a Yattalunga driveway is cleaned?

The 1994 study looked at drainage to plan future land use around a sensitive local environment, and while it found flooding and other constraints could limit development, it judged some areas suitable for residential lots. In 2014 the former Gosford City Council refused a Woolworths proposal, partly because it would have needed conserved bushland rezoned. Nearly every home is detached, 98.0% of occupied dwellings at the 2021 Census. Where drainage has been studied this closely, the NSW EPA rule deserves a mention: nothing from a wash may flow into the stormwater system, since whatever goes in there reaches the local creeks and the sea without treatment. That holds for every driveway pressure clean in Yattalunga.
