What does bushland on every side mean for Garden Suburb roofs?

The suburb's first subdivision, in 1918, took in Prospect Road, Park Road and Marshall Street, and that seems to be when the name Garden Suburb was given. The Forest Hills Estate in the south, with streets named after plants, was built between 1999 and 2005. Myall Road is the only way in, and Winding, Tickhole and Garden Suburb creeks run through the hills.

At the 2021 Census, 99.7% of occupied homes were separate houses. Tile maker Monier says dirt and debris build up faster on roofs shaded by trees, so homes backing onto the bush tend to need a roof soft wash sooner than those in open streets, and the walls take the same low-pressure house washing method.
