How are Hamilton's houses and converted heritage buildings cleaned?

The Australian Agricultural Company ran the mines and owned most of the land, and the miners' settlement sat around what is now Beaumont Street. By 1928 Hamilton had more than 400 shops, up from 80 in 1909. The Mechanics Institute, built in stages between 1869 and 1903, was later renovated into a 33 unit apartment complex, with the work finished in January 2018.

In 2021, 58.3% of homes were separate houses, 25.2% were semi-detached or terrace dwellings and 15.1% were flats. Walls get a soft wash, while driveways, paths and courtyards get pressure washing at a level each surface can take. In an apartment block such as the converted institute, work on common property is a matter for the owners corporation under NSW strata rules.
