House washing and pressure washing in Point Clare

How are Point Clare homes near the Brisbane Water foreshore cleaned?

Point Clare has its own station on the Main North railway line, a strip of local shops, a community hall in Talinga Avenue and a Scouts' and Guides' hall at Fagans Park. At the northern end of Goodaywang Reserve on the foreshore are Marine Rescue Central Coast and the TS Hawkesbury navy cadet unit. The village was the setting for Stephen Lacey's first two novels, The Tin Moon and Sandstone.

In 2021, 38.4% of homes had four or more bedrooms and 37.0% were owned outright. Eaves and the undersides of gutters never see rain, and COLORBOND recommends hosing those sheltered spots at least every six months; a house wash reaches them at low pressure. Paths and driveways get pressure washing, and under NSW EPA rules the wash water must stay out of stormwater drains, which in a suburb on its western shore lead untreated toward Brisbane Water.
