When can an Empire Bay driveway be pressure cleaned?

The land was subdivided in 1905, while the locality still took its name from Sorrento, a large boarding house. A postal receiving office opened in a building attached to that boarding house in 1908, and because Victoria already had a Sorrento post office the village became Empire Bay on 24 May that year. The original general store went up between 1910 and 1912.

Detached houses made up 93.3% of occupied dwellings at the 2021 Census, so most paving here belongs to one household rather than a strata scheme. Central Coast Council's permanent Water Wise Rules let hard surfaces be pressure cleaned only for listed reasons, and mould and moss are among them, so a driveway pressure clean to remove either is allowed.
